Feanor looks too skinny here. Like I commented in others of your awesome illustrations the Noldor have pretty strong and proportioned bodies even in comparison to men. And Feanor was described as "great in mind and body beyond the measure of the Eldar"

I can picture this after the twins were born since she looks very tired-baring 7 sons can take a heavy toll even for the strongest of elf women. I love how he is so loving and supports her here. From what I see in the fandom  I think most people think Feanor is incapable of loving anyone else except his father, but I believe he wasn't always a cold bastard and had been a loving husband and father before the lies of Morghot.

In General, I conceived that it Nerdanel in early pregnancy twins.)

I am sure that he loved his family. In the end, otherwise he wouldn't have as many followers. Well, actually, it is lies of Morgoth, the death of father and a misunderstanding of the Valar eventually brought him great madness..

а4.

Я редко делаю бОльший формат, потому что не очень удобно. Я часто рисую на работе и вожу папку с собой.

При сканировании получается увеличение.

It's excelent, i've got to check your other drawings! (is it correct to call it engraving?, i don't really know, since my english isn't very good). Anyway, i think it's some of the best Tolkien art.

I adore Silm, even it is more than LotR, it as the epos or a legend...))
I have remembered names, probably, having read the book three times. And having learned many jokes on it ;))))

For example this =)) - "Whether you know that Beren was very greedy, but very competent robber. And when to he have ordered to steal Silmarills, he has demanded for each stone the princess. In poor Tingol it was enough only on one.
Therefore other stones Beren didn't take: he didn't work free of charge!"(c)

So true! :D It falls to Thingol and Melian to beget more daughters, to motivate Beren to save the Silmarils and thus right the fate of Middle Earth that is bound up with them.

Of course, the fact that Beren could never have succeeded without Lúthien's help is completely irrelevant to this joke. ;)

Me too. I have nothing on DA to which I might point to show this, but I can spend weeks just drawing strands of hair on a portrait.

Okay, in my case, maybe it's just a little bit more like OCD. :D

If possible. A lot of it's stuff I made for friends and gave away; it may be possible to take photos of some framed pics, but not high quality scans. Thanks for asking though. :)
