There is so much I love about this picture...the design is great, but I especially like the way you colour and shade it both with watercolour pencils and inks. Together with the beautiful frame it looks like the illustration of a wonderful book full of old tales and adventures! The colours are strong, yet not too strong and very harmonic and the tones you use for shading are definitely worth being paid attention to (at least to me XD).
But there is one thing that bothers me greatly after a friend pointed it out (which should I, as a live-action roleplayer and archer should have noticed earlier): the quiver's straps. Firstly, they are on the wrong side. At least have not seen any quiver whose straps did not start at the top and end at its lower side. Also, putting it on with the arrangement you drew would be unnecessarily complicated. Secondly, the upper straps are over the cloak...whereas the lower one is beneath it. How can that be? Is there a hole in the cloak? (that's really a difficulty not only if you draw it, but if you wear a quiver and a cloak. It's a pain to figure out what to wear how to make it both useful and cool-looking! XD) If there's a hole, alright. I just wanted to mention it in case you did not think about that.
It's an awesome artwork and I really fell in love with your style. Archers generally seem to be hard to draw (especially when using their weapons, great artworks displaying that correctly are rather rare, sadly). I hope I could give you some useful advice.
Thank yoy! i very glad that you liked it..) oh...I actually drew a quiver belt based movement tissue, not functionality... I guess I got carried away a bit
Seems so. Artists often have to balance out realism/functionality and dynamics/design. Especially fantasy-videogame-characters often have very absurd yet kinda cool looking designs. XD Your approach is more realistic and also more historically accurate, I think, and I enjoy that very much.

However, the coat could easily be cut.
In any case, thanks for the advice = )

No problem! I am glad you appreciate it!
